Frequently asked questions:
Do I need to have had any art experience before I come along?
Not at all. If you have never done any art before, the last time you picked up a paint brush was at school or you are a practising artist - these sessions are for you. We never stop learning and every human is creative in some way. If you have a passion or merely a curiosity to see what your visual creativity has to offer, then come and have a play. As adults we sometime forget how important it is to never stop playing. It relieves tension and stress and releases dopamine (feel good neurotransmitter) into our brain! This is your (well deserved) time out.
Why do you do a meditation before each adult session?
I call it meditation but really it's just slowing down... stopping the brain, body and mind for a few moments to catch our breath. We all rush. It's inevitable these days and we deserve time to slow down, relax and recharge. This is the reason Hubert and Mavis exists... to wind you back, give to your soul and top you up so you have more energy for all the other things you need to do in your day. (Meditation is for adult sessions only).
